Emily is a third-generation born and bred Alaskan. She grew up thinking Scared Scriptless was this super cool thing (though her parents never let her watch them because they considered it “mature content”), and so is absolutely honored to be a member of the troupe. Emily spent some time in NYC where she was first introduced to improv, and has since moved back home to join Scared Scriptless and participate in local community theatre. Outside of acting, Emily owns Betti’s, a new bookstore located in the heart of Spenard. While the name is in part an homage to her grandmother, it’s most recognized for Betti the shopdog.
