New website in the works!
2Check back soon!!! The Scared Scriptless website consortium is hard at work to bring a new website to the screaming Scared Scriptless fans!
What do you think of the updates? Have any suggestions for our site? Feel free to post a response here and we will see what we can do.
As always praise is accepted too.

Not bad, SS. Not bad. The theme you’re using (as of Mon, Feb 7, 3pm AKST) is bright and clean. Which is a vast improvement over the old one.
Do not, do not, do not, however, make me work. As your average Internet user, I have an attention span of about 3 seconds after page load. If I haven’t found my information by then, I’m irritated and flustered. Please, as part of the new site (same as what was attempted with the previous site), provide up-to-date information on the absolute *next* show, immediately, and towards the top of the page. No scrolling. No clicking. No too-quick timer far above my reading level.
As a web developer, remove your link duplicity for the “About”, “Troupe Members”, etc. Perhaps replace the lighter gray ones instead with a countdown timer to the next show. I imagine that there exists a WordPress widget/plugin that allows for something like this, possibly countdowns until article publishing times, etc.
Also, Recent Posts and Popular Posts widgets don’t really have a place on the site. You get the Recent Posts from the home page feed, and the most Popular Post (assumed to be the most important one) will likely be the absolute latest one. It will be confusing for users to see “Popular Posts” and have them reference shows that were a year ago.
I’m sorry you were saying something about attention span and I got distracted. ;D
Great suggestions! Thanks for taking the time to post. The Scared Scriptless web consortium is working through the growing pains of Word Press. As a Blogging tool first (as you know) it tailors more towards posting most recent news above more important news,
So That is something I had hoped the “FEATURED” rotating applet would resolve by showing more than just the last posted update.
The redundance of the buttons at the top will be resolved when we decide which we like best. I love the idea of a countdown timer till next show… Hummm….
As for the “recent” and “popular” posts I need to figure out how to remove them from the right nav column. They are redundantly redundant.
